   I have been making bread in a bread maker for over a year. I would cut it free hand and end up with super thick slices and the slices were thick in some areas thin in others, it was a mess. I had to toast a lot of the slices in the toaster oven because they wouldn’t fit in the toaster. This device changed all of that. I now have consistent slices AND I don’t have to make bread as often because the slices are thinner because of the slots. I’m not sure when you’d ever use the thinnest setting, the middle slice setting is thinner than your average slice of bread from the store. Now my bread fits in the toaster and I don’t end with some squishy parts and some burned parts because the slices are now a consistent thickness.

   Great quality bamboo bread slicer. Like the option to have thin or thicker slices, easy to clean with the crumb catcher tray. Nice high quality storage bag is included, definitely recommend!
